Church exorcists want forum on paranormal

IRELAND. Although Roman Catholic priest Father Pat Collins and Church of Ireland minister the Rev William H Lendrum represent different traditions, they are both highly respected as exorcists in Ireland. They have carried our hundreds of exorcisms and even worked together on some cases.

Now, according to Sean Ryan, Ireland correspondent of The Universe, the Catholic newspaper, they have called for the creation of a special forum to deepen our understanding of the paranormal world. They say it deserves much more investigation.

The frightening cases they have dealt with include a 10-year-old boy who became possessed after using a ouija board and the ghost of a young woman who physically attacked people living in her former home.

“This is a part of Christianity that has been overlooked or simply ignored,” Rev Lendrum observed.
