Top US researcher in UK to talk on Survival and NDEs

UNITED KINGDOM. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear Prof Bruce Greyson (right) speak on survival after death research and also his extensive involvement with near-death experiences (NDEs) during his April visit to the UK.

Dr Bruce Greyson is the Chester F. Carlson Professor of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioural Sciences and director of the Division of Perceptual Studies at the University of Virginia.

He was also the founder of the International Association for Near-Death Studies of which he is also a past president, and for the past 26 years has edited the Journal of Near-Death Studies.

On Thursday 24 April, Prof Greyson will be giving an evening talk to the Scottish Society for Psychical Research at the University of Glasgow. The meeting is open to non-members (£5) and full details can be found on the SSPR’s website.

Two days later, Prof Greyson will be participating in the Society for Psychical Research’s 54th Study Day in London, alongside Profs Erlendur Haraldsson, David Fontana and Bernard Carr, and Mary Rose Barrington.

They will each be making their own contribution to a celebration of the life and scientific accomplishments of Prof Ian Stevenson (left), who is most famous for his reincarnation studies but was actively involved in a range of research topics including NDEs, telepathy, clairvoyance and survival of death. Prof Stevenson was Bruce Greyson’s predecessor at the University of Virginia.
